- Principles and basic understaning of computer networking.
Topics include: the structure and components of computer
networks, protocols and formal specification methods, packet switching,
layered architectures, TCP/IP, error control, window flow
control, local area networks, network layer, flow control and congestion control,
Quality of Service, voice over IP, and security, and other current
research topics.

- After this course students should have good understanding of networking principles.
