Die Veranstaltung findet regelmäßig im Wintersemester statt.
- Principles and basic understaning of computer networking, with an emphasis
on the Internet. Topics include: the structure and components of computer
networks, protocols and formal specification methods, packet switching,
layered architectures, TCP/IP, physical layer, error control, window flow
control, local area networks, network layer, congestion control, Quality of
Service, voice over IP, network management and security, and other current
research topics.

Internet works and basic network programming.
